How we verify technical relationships
ElectricalTradeTools.com separates documented compatibility from physical fit, assumptions and forum anecdotes. This page defines the source hierarchy and status labels used for knockout systems, conduit benders, crimping tools, cable cutters, cable-pulling systems and strut cutters.
Never infer a technical relationship just because two parts look alike or physically connect. Record the exact tool model, generation, accessory, application, size/material limits, source and last-verified date.

For cable pulling, compatibility is not limited to the puller model. The documented chain can include puller force and duty rating, mounting method, rope construction and rated capacity, grip or swivel capacity, cable diameter/construction and the geometry of the run. Breaking strength, working/rated capacity and the puller’s peak force are recorded as different fields rather than treated as equivalent.
For strut shears and cutters, the site records the cutter platform, exact die or blade, channel dimensions/profile, gauge, material and any required power unit. A die documented for one profile is not generalized to another profile merely because both products are described by the same nominal strut width.
